If you are a working person then your Dressing, your Appearance should talk about your Profession.

When I work with clients I always tell them your Dressing should convey the right message about your profession but when you talk to your clients or with the target audience you should talk and not your dressing.

This simply means, your Professional Dressing should not be a distraction in your important meetings or important discussions in the office or anywhere else.
The colours, patterns, decorative fashions can be a distraction in your Professional Dressing. Even your makeup and accessories, perfumes can be a distracting one.

So select appropriate Dressing, Accessories and Grooming as per your Profession, your Designation and the Purpose of the meeting.
